A CSA Share makes a fantastic gift for you, your family, a friend or family member. WEI provides you with 18 weeks of organically certified produce delivered from mid June to mid October on Thursdays (East Central) or Friday (Twin Cities metro) to a dropsite near you. The cost for the entire 18 weeks is $576.00 with possible rebates. Bread and cookie orders from our local organic Red Door Bakery can also be added to your share.

Special deliveries to workplace offices or to your home are available (need 6 shares or more per site)

Mother Earth Banquet

Please join us in WEI's Annual Awards and Fundraising Event, the Mother Earth Banquet.

When: Friday, June 21st, 5:30 - 8: 30 PM

Where: Dakota Lodge, 1200 Stassen Lane, West St. Paul, MN 55118

This year we will honor:

WEI's 2013 "Mother of the Environmental Justice Movement" Sandra Steingraber, acclaimed ecologist and author of 'Living Downstream' and 'Raising Elijah.' Ms. Steingraber will speak on toxic trespassing and the drastic effects of fracking on our lives.

WEI's 2013 "Minnesota Environmental Justice Leader" Sharon Day, Executive Director of the Indigenouse People's Task Force, singer, author, and found of the Women's Water Walk.

The event will begin with cocktail hour at 5:30 PM, silent auction, then speeches and entertainment with a dinner prepared by local chefs with organic, fresh produce from WEI's own farm, ending around 8:30 PM with results from the silent auction.

Interns Wanted!

We are seeking three interns to be an integral part of the summer/early fall programming and initiatives of the Women’s Environmental Institute. WEI is at a pivotal period of growth and development and is seeking to support our development with the opening of three internship positions. Those who successfully fill these positions will experience real hands-on and meaningful experience in the ins-and-outs of nonprofit administration, grant seeking, event coordination, marketing, and sales (dependent on the position). WEI is committed to the development of all that work on our team through exposure, professional development, and mentoring. If you are accepted, you will be a part of something bigger than yourself helping a farm, an educational institute, an environmental justice organization grow to the next level.

We are seeking:
1. Nonprofit Administration and Development Intern
2. Events and Programming Intern
3. Marketing and Sales Intern

WEI's 2013 ORGANIC FARM SCHOOL: MOVING THE GOOD FOOD REVOLUTION

Where: Midtown Global Market Greenway Conference Room, 920 E. Lake St, Minneapolis
When: Monday evenings from 6-8pm, starting June 10, 2013 - August 12th.
What else: Meet and network. Learn more at on-site workshops, field days, and urban farming projects. Join the new farm-for-food synergy.
Cost: $120 for all ten weeks, or $20 per class
