As a new WEI member, we hope that you will be able to participate in many of the projects, classes and events we have planned for the general public. Your annual WEI members offers you discounts on most of these WEI 2010 events. These events are always listed with an asterisk * when a discount applies, and with a double asterisk ** when they are free for member-only participation.
In addition, this year we are offering some special occasions for WEI members only (sometimes in combination with our CSA members), that we hope you will enjoy. You are also invited to attend special meetings with our Executive Director in January and February to discuss your ideas on the future of WEI and the new Growing Power Regional Outreach Training Center. The new Hungry for Change Reading Group is also for WEI members only, and this year we will be offering WEI members Fire Sale Fridays at the Amador Hill Eco-Retreat Center. Fire Sale Friday means that you call us on Friday after 1. p.m., and if rooms are available that weekend, you will receive 50% off the cost of room rental for one overnight stay on Friday or Saturday night; individuals or couples only. Watch for updates on other WEI events, classes and workshops offered to the public.
