Apply Now: Paid Farm Internships at WEI's CSA Farm

ONE Intern position is still available starting in May

The Women's Environmental Institute is accepting applications for full-time paid farm intern positions for the 2008 farm season. A full-time farm internship includes a supportive intern stipend, room and board, and an educational program on organic farming. On-site residency is required. Internships start and end dates are somewhat flexible. Please contact us about various options. Applicants who have a strong commitment to organic farming and to the environmental and agricultural justice mission of WEI are preferred. Some experience working on an organic farm or a strong ambition and dedication to learning how to farm organically are preferred.
Application Procedure:
If you are interested in applying, we need a letter of inquiry from you indicating why you would like to do the internship, a resumé, and names and contact information of people who can give us a recommendation for you. Former employers, teachers or mentors or farm supervisors would be helpful. We will contact you for an interview if you are under consideration. You can send the application electronically to wei@w-e-i.org or by land mail to WEI, P.O. Box 128, North Branch, MN 55056. For more information, call Tria at 651-583-0705.
