If you're interested in organic berry-growing practices, Paul Otten is your "go-to" guy. He has made Natura Farm somewhat famous for its collection, which includes strawberries, blueberries, and several different varieties of raspberries, currants, and gooseberries.  Otten has gathered gooseberries and currants from all over world. Several years ago, he had more than 120 varieties; all planted in tiny crops of five plants each. If you'd like to learn the nuts and bolts of growing great berries -- the organic way, then this workshop is for you! $55.00 covers the cost of the workshop -- please bring a brown bag lunch. Would you like to learn how to landscape your home using plants that are edible for your family, and also for birds and other wildlife? This workshop is for you. Eric Gustafson and Gina Sapp bring years of experience growing perennial and annual plants that will not only beautify your yard but also create opportunities for fresh eating during the season. You'll leave this workshop with lots of ideas and plans for planting in the coming Spring.
